Twig in Summer

April showers, May showers, June showers... we are hoping that July brings more sunshine. Our Twig backpack is certainly ready for it. Always ready for a picnic, we recently loaded Ashley's pack full of fruit and snacks and hopped on the Midtown Greenway over to Powderhorn Park.

Our family is big into story time, and this book is such a cozy one. 🤲🏻 Hush Hush, Forest, written by Mary Casanova and illustrated by Nick Wroblewski is about the changing of the seasons and the movement of wildlife through northern climates. The writing is simple and beautiful, with detailed illustrations of animals in the north woods. I can’t recommend it more highly! #bestchildrensbooks #northwoods #onlyinmn
