Ashley approaches expression through fiber, textiles, and oil paints. She looks to those moments in her life that have held mystery, truth, richness and joy. A hike through the woods, the way the butterflies and bees float through the dense collection flowers, a bicycle ride on a summer evening through the city. The goal for Ashley is to conceptualize a piece of art as a time capsule to her experiences.
